My story

Judit Nagy PCC, ICF Coach of the Year 2020-21, executive, business and life coach, trainer, communication mentor, and speaker.

I am a member of the international ICF and ICF Hungary professional associations.

I am curious and experimental. There have been many twists and turns in my life, and coaching is a synthesis of my life stages. I originally trained as an opera singer and actor, but in order to reassure my parents – what will this kid do for a living? – I obtained a degree in education. Encouraged by my phenomenal elocution teacher, I graduated from the Hungarian Radio School of Journalism and worked at Hungarian Radio before spending 12 years at Hungarian Television as an editor, reporter, and anchor for news and various cultural and magazine programmes.

2007. was a fateful year. A near-death experience at the birth of my daughter started me on a journey of self-discovery that continues to this day. In 2017, I wrote a book called My Awakenings that deals with trauma processing and change.

I have experienced a great deal of change in my life, from starting a new career to moving abroad.

In 2012, I started rebuilding my career in a new capacity: as a coach and trainer. And in 2020 in Luxembourg: my life and my existence.

I currently work in both Hungary and Luxembourg as a coach, trainer, communication mentor, and speaker.

With more than 15 years of experience in television and communication, I support my clients in developing their personality, leadership, and communication competencies using unique and creative methods – my own method is choco-coaching. In addition to individual processes, I have developed and managed talent programmes, leadership development, strategy processes, and organisational change management for several large companies. In addition to the corporate field, I have also delivered open training and experiential programmes that support conscious life management, deepen self-awareness, or strengthen collaboration and communication competencies.

I currently work as a freelancer.

I am an instructor and mentor at the CoachAcademy and the Budapest Metropolitan University, as well as a volunteer coach at HiSchool, a professional community which supports career guidance for young people.

I prepare leaders and presenters for public appearances and TED talks. In 2013, I gave a presentation at the TedXSomlóiWomen event as a silent presenter. I also teach a special technique for managing stage fright.

My support my own personal development with ongoing professional training and supervision, not to mention the mirror my teenager holds up to me every day, which is when I benefit greatly from the support of my husband, who has been my partner for 20 years through the good times and bad. I regularly spend time in nature and enjoy Nordic walking, swimming, and working out with a fitness trainer, who often gets me out of my comfort zone. Sometimes I commit crimes, but don’t worry – my partner in crime is always a bit of high quality chocolate.
